Lemon Ginger & Pear Kombucha Jello

Pears aren’t just a sweet and delicious fruit.  They’re high in fiber and potassium to health your digestive system function better.  Ginger has been shown in clinical studies to relieve nausea and support a healthy digestive system also.  Lemon essential oil naturally cleanses the body and aids in digestion. It also promotes a positive mood!  Kombucha is a probiotic-rich drink. These good bacteria help to re-colonize gut bacteria to boost immunity.  Wow, that’s a lot of goodness in a homemade snack!  

Kombucha Jello
INGREDIENTS

1 cup pear juice
1 cup kombucha
1 cup pears, diced
4 Tablespoons grass fed beef gelatin
Pinch of stevia
1 drop ginger essential oil
1 drop lemon essential oil

DIRECTIONS

Add gelatin to cool water in a mason jar and whisk to dissolve the powder. In a saucepan heat pear juice, kombucha, pears, and stevia until right before boiling. Add the gelatin mixture and stir to combine. Remove from heat and pour liquid into 8x 11 glass dish, add essential oil as it begins to cool. Allow to set in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
